Zermatt is a culinary pearl, and I found my treasure at the Schweizerhof! The nearby Derby and Walliserkanne had traditional Swiss dishes that blew me away, especially the fondue! Plus, the hotel facilities were top-notch, with a fantastic pool and wellness area to unwind after a busy day exploring.
Ah, the dining scene downstairs was slightly bumpy.

Nice spot for families
We stayed one night in a junior suite, and it was super cozy! Great beds and clean room. Loved that there was a pool to relax in after hiking. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent, too! The iPad controls were a bit confusing, though. Also, a bit of noise from renovations early in the day wasn't ideal.

The hotel offers a beautifully renovated space with a cozy atmosphere and a prime location, just minutes from the train station. However, the breakfast menu had limited vegetarian options, and the lack of air conditioning was a bit disappointing. Overall, a pleasant experience, with attentive staff and great amenities.

The attentive staff truly enhanced the experience, making each interaction feel welcoming and warm. Enjoyed delicious meals featuring organic fruits that exceeded expectations, especially at dinner. However, the room temperature was uncomfortably warm and the interconnecting door allowed some noise from the next room, which interrupted sleep quality. Overall, a beautiful stay with stunning views and great amenities.

I loved the location of Schweizerhof Zermatt. It's right near the main street, making it easy to explore the area. The modern alpine decor felt stylish and cozy, which I appreciated. Our room had a balcony with views of the Matterhorn, and that was breathtaking. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's rest. The breakfast spread was plentiful and varied. I especially enjoyed the fresh pastries and local cheeses. However, the shower stall was dangerously slippery, which was concerning. I fell while using the body wash. The front desk offered bath mats, but there should have been one available in the bath by default. That really needs to be addressed. It would have made the experience even better. Apart from that, everything else was great!
